But do it together :-)
maybe in compare to your expectations, this page is not about how to build a pergola or planting roses by yourself. there will be no heavy lifted formulas for the success of your 17 years old wisteria. from my point of view, it's about DIY means teaching and experiences your kids the basic skills of gardening. and if you're a rookie with gardening yourself, well what a great opportunity to experience something new while doing it together with you're the young generation. I can tell you that, my two daughters (which are grown little women now) and I, we head the time of our life not only through amazing tracks or while hanging out and shopping
if you'll ask them about their childhood memories, the answer automatically would be: "germinating seeds together" or "rooting plants on the kitchen window" there for when it comes to my interpretation
for DIY gardening it's all about DIY and do it together. so what I'm about to show you is a list of easy, inexpensive, safe and most important fun things to do and experience with your kid whether your leave in an urban environment or rural. most of the following activities take place indoor. and yes, there's a lot of "pruning" down there under your open eyes of course, so let's begin.
Where to start your DIY gardening - with the understanding that from that point on you're doing it all together. from deciding upon "let's do something cool together", what is it? let's find out > inspire. start with collecting the tools and the products together, the following list ill provides most likely that most things you'll find at home, and if it requires going to the nearest garden center or nursery, that's great. do it together, again. you won't believe what a powerful tool is hanging around with kids in a flourishing nursery. remember, it doesn't matter what you're about to grow, don't get too hard on yourself and push to grow what you want or wat you think is suitable. your not the center here. remember to enjoy, it's fun and precious.
So here is the list you should start from. that list will grow ovet time while im adding new fun activities. stay tuned and i invite you to share new ideas for the benefit of eveyone who's reading.
please feel free at any point, contact me and ask for any advice. ill be more than happy to help and lead you on that special path.
happy gardening :-)

So despite there being loads of information on this site, I also provide specific and personalized support. If something wasn't clear, or you're not sure of your plant's name, simply send me a picture with your question. Use the form below and I'll get back to you. In the mean time, see what others are asking.
